Arsenal Gearing Up for Premier League Race

Arsenal projected an inspirational victory last night at San Siro. With the 2-0 victory, Arsenal saw off defending champion AC Milan from the round of 16 of Champions League. Arsenal went into the match with four winless matches behind them in all competition and was less favorite to win at the home ground of AC Milan.

Arsene Wenger boys are now gearing up to be back in winning run once again in the premier league. Arsenal is still a point clear at the top of premier league. Two successive draws cut their eight-point lead to one in the league. Arsenal is going to travel to Wigan Athletic next weekend in their next premier league match. Arsenal’s hero of Champions League triumph at AC Milan, Cesc Fabregas insisted on playing their own game against Wigna. He also indicated the team spirit of Arsenal.

Bangkok Post reported:
"Other teams know if they let us play, we can be very dangerous," said Arsenal midfielder Cesc Fabregas.
"They close us down and defend, we have to try not to make mistakes and just play our own football.
"The spirit of the team is amazing, and we have to keep going."

Arsenal has been pretty much consistent than any other premier league teams so far this season with only one defeat in premier league. Though they have gone though some tough times during the season, they have bounced back in style each time. Moreover, the come back of midfielder Tomas Rosicky and striker Robin van Persie would definitely be a major boost to their title hopes. Now, let us see if Arsenal can return to winning track in premier league leaving behind all the odds in their pursuit to win another premier league title.
