New £140,000-Deal Waiting for Cristiano Ronaldo

It was earlier reported that a 30-goal mark in premier league this season would bring a financial reward for the Manchester United midfielder Cristiano Ronaldo, as per the word given by manager Sir Alex Ferguson. He has already scored 19 goals from 25 premier league matches. What is more, the way he has been scoring these days, there is no doubt that he would easily reach the mark of 30 goals with 13 matches remaining in the season. However, Ferguson has already decided to offer a lucrative amount to the Portugal international. If the reported amount is offered then Ronaldo will become the highest earner of premier league.

Goal.com reported:

The Portuguese celebrates his 23rd birthday next week and will be able to toast a £140,000-a-week deal. This would see Ronaldo oust Chelsea skipper John Terry as the Premier League’s highest earner. The defender ‘only’ makes £130,000.

Well, Manchester United is the defending champion and Ronaldo played a big part behind their success last season. The winger has been player the similar role for Manchester United this season and the club needs his inspirational form to defend their title successfully this season as well. So, naturally they will happily give some financial rewards for Ronaldo. By this new deal, Ronaldo remains at Old Trafford till 2014. So, Manchester United fans have some reasons to cheer in.
