Mathieu Flamini Wants to Remain at Arsenal

Mathieu Flamini, Arsenal midfielder, is hoping that he will be able to come under a new contract. His deal with Arsenal will expire this summer. Italian club Juventus is interested about Flamini, while there has not been any progress in his talk with Arsenal for a new contract. So, it is not yet confirmed if Mathieu Flamini remains in Arsenal next season. However, he said that Arsenal was his first priority.

Goal.com reported:

However, the Frenchman has declared that Arsenal will be his first priority, and only if things do not work out will he look elsewhere.

"There are talks with the club and I hope everything will work out because I am happy here," he told the Sunday Mirror.

"I like English football and I love Arsenal."

Flamini has been in good form this season. He has been playing in the starting line up of Arsenal for the last few matches, keeping Gilberto Silva out. I think, Flamini has played an effective role for Arsenal. So, Arsene Wenger should think about him seriously and keep him in the club.
