Mathieu Flamini Says, In-form Emmanuel Adebayor Can Help Arsenal to Win Premier League Title

Sometimes criticism brings out the best from someone. It seems to be the case of Arsenal striker Emmanuel Adebayor. The Togo international has been in impressive form so far this season with 18 goals to his credit. However, after an impressive start in the season, Adebayor went though a goal-drought for a number of matches, which led many to claim his performance as “fortuitous”. Moreover, he was fully criticized after an on-field clash with team mate Nicklas Bendtner. However, he got over all those odds and back to his top form. Adebayor has steered Arsenal to regain their top place in the table with scoring twice in their 3-1 victory over Manchester City.

His team mate Mathieu Flamini has recently spoken highly about Adebayor terming him as one of the in the world. He also said that Arsenal needs him to win the every game in order to win the title.

Flamini told Arsenal TV: "Emmanuel is unbelievable at the moment - he is scoring in every game.

"He is showing he is one of the best strikers in the world and we need him to keep going until the end of the season.

"We know we need to win every game if we want to win the title."

Adebayor is now second in the table of highest goal scorer of premier league this season with Cristiano Ronaldo at the top with a goal ahead of him. It does not matter if Adebayor becomes the highest goal scorer of the season. The main thing is that Arsenal is playing superb this season. So, they need Adebayor to continue their charge for the title this season.
