Gilberto Silva Unhappy at Arsenal

At last, Arsenal midfielder Gilberto Silva has found it difficult to continue at Arsenal. The Brazilian has lost his place in the starting line up of Arsenal this season as Mathieu Flamini has replaced Gilberto Silva in the final line up. He has had a few appearances in the starting line up of Arsenal this season. The Brazilian international said that he would not cope up with any more seasons like this with Arsenal as coach had made him feel useless. Terming his performance of last year, the midfielder said that he had had a good season last year. He clearly said that if he was kept out of the staring line up then he would leave Arsenal.

Goal.com reported:

“To this day I’m waiting for an explanation as to this change," said Gilberto, who at times captained the Gunners last season. "The truth is I found out about it through the newspapers.

"I could not cope with another season like this one when Wenger has made me feel totally useless. A player must be able to smile. A sad Brazilian is no good, especially on a football pitch. Right now I really am struggling to battle on.”

Arsenal has been playing superb this season so far, despite the fact that they do not have any big star in the squad. However, Arsene Wenger is leading a young side with full of enthusiasm. They are currently at the top of the league point table. The youngsters who are playing vital role behind Arsenal’s impressive run this season, Mathieu Flamini is one of them. So, I am not so optimistic about Gilberto Silva because Arsene Wenger may not want to break the winning squad to bring the Brazilian on the starting line up. So, it seems that Gilberto Silva might leave the club next season. Italian giants Juventus and Inter Milan have already showed their interest about Gilberto Silva.
