LG Voyager and Venus Led to Increased Sales for LG in Fourth Quarter of 2007

LG has seen extensive profit in the fourth quarter of last year through the world wide popularity of LG Voyager and Venus handsets. The company experienced 40 percent increased sales of units in the Q4 of 2007 compared to the same period of previous year. LG marketed 23.7 million cellphones in the last quarter of 2007, which helped the company to increase its yearly profit by twelve fold compared to the previous year.

Well, LG Venus and LG Voyager, the two new handsets were instrumental to its increased sales. However, LG Viewty was more successful in Europe. Now, LG bosses expect to ship 100 millions units in 2008, which means 25 percent increase in sales world wide.

After getting wider success with LG Venus, the company has recently introduced the GSM version of LG Venus, KF600. Now, let us see if KF600 brings similar success for LG in 2008 as LG Venus did last year.
