Australia vs India Twenty20: Ben Hilfenhaus Received Unexpected Call up

Australia vs India twenty20 match will be held on Friday at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. The match has created huge excitement among the fans after experiencing an enjoyable test series. Though Australia won the series, India put on huge pressure on the home side after winning the Perth test. Australian selectors have declared the twenty20 squad of Australia recently with a flurry of new faces.

Ben Hilfenhaus is one of them. He played his debut match in the Chappell-Hadlee series after spending a breakthough season alst year. However, the fast bowler is not in his great from in domestic season with poor performance. So, the call up was unexpected to him. However, Shaun Tait has made it easy for him declaring his break from all kinds of cricket.

The 24-year-old former bricklayer has had a miserable season, taking 16 first-class wickets at 49 and eight domestic one-day wickets at 33.

But Tait's physical and mental breakdown has allowed Hilfenhaus back into the frame to join Brett Lee, Ashley Noffke and Nathan Bracken as the quicks in the Twenty20 squad.

Michael Hussey’s brother David Hussey was also called up for his imperious domestic form this season. So, I can see Australia is going to feature an inexperienced side in the twenty20 match against India. Batsmen Mathew Hayden and pacer Mitchell Johnson have been rested ahead of the CB series.
