Arsenal Captain Confident of His Team’s Prospect

William Gallas is the captain of Arsenal side this season and in the way things have gone so far, most people will agree with my idea that he is a very successful captain so far. He is a good player and he is inspiring his team mates. Gallas is now confident about Arsenal’s prospect this season in English Premier League.

William Gallas insisted yesterday that the Arsenal squad is strong enough to cope with the loss of key players during the African Cup of Nations and does not need to be reinforced during the transfer window.

Arsène Wenger, the Arsenal manager, could be without Kolo Touré and Emmanuel Eboué for up to six weeks after Sunday’s FA Cup third-round tie against Burnley, depending on Ivory Coast’s progress in the tournament in Ghana, which runs from January 20 to February 10. Alexandre Song will also be away with Cameroon, although Emmanuel Adebayor is staying in London because Togo failed to qualify for the finals.

Without some key players, Arsenal will become a bit weak and players like Gallas will have to work harder for the club.
