Serbian rising star, Ana Ivanovic is going to face Danish Caroline Wozniacki in the fourth round of Australia Open 2008. According to schedule posted in the official website of Australian Open 2008, Ana Ivanovic vs Caroline Wozniacki match will be held at the Rod Laver Arena, Melbourne Park on 21 January. The match is set to start at 11:00 AM local time.

Well, Ana Ivanovic is one of the strong contenders of the tournament. Seeded no. 4, Ana Ivanovic made an ominous start with straight sets victory in all the first three rounds. She is one of those few players who have not dropped any set so far in the tournament. She had a successful season last year with climbing up to 4 from 14 in the world ranking. The beaten finalist of French Open has already marked his best Australian Open performance after reaching the fourth round of the tournament.

Ivanovic roared past Slovenian Katarina Srebotnik 6-3, 6-4 in the third round. Now, she is focusing on her next round match against Caroline Wozniacki, who has also been impressive in the first three rounds. Wozniacki, of Denmark, does not have any notable performance in the grand slam tournaments. In fact, reaching the fourth round of the ongoing Australian Open is the best grand slam performance of the 17 year old girl. She is full of potential. Actually, Wozniacki is one of the surprise performers of Australian Open 2008.

Ana Ivanovic is favorite in the match. However, there is little doubt that Ivanovic has to face some strong challenges from her compatriot in the fourth round. Ivanovic will not have another one-sided match in the fourth round. So, you can at least expect an interesting match tomorrow, regardless the result of the match.
