Russell Crowe and Christian Bale came with their wives, also Ben Foster, Peter Fonda, James Mangold and other appeared in the premiere. Though it is the remake of a 50’s classic movie, the movie has lot to offer to the viewers. James Mangold had kept the story same but he told it in a different way. He feels that the story is vibrant but in the 1957 movie there were not much action. The mental conflict of the Dan Evans (played by Van Heflin) was given lot of emphasis in the movie.
