US Open 2007: Alun Jones as Wild Card Entry

US Open Tennis 2007 is going to start from 26 August 2007. So, there are just 11 days left now. Alun Jones is going to take part in US Open 2007 as a wild card entry. Alun Jones is a player from Australia but he not famous. He is lucky to be in US Open 2007. I could not find much information about her. I guess that we will know more about him in the coming days.

Alun Jones, 27, received the men's wildcard.

He is the fourth ranked Australian in the world at 123, and will join automatic qualifiers Lleyton Hewitt (20), Chris Guccione (89) and Peter Luczak (91).

Jones, also with the AIS, has recorded a string of consistent results in Challenger tournaments over the last couple of months en route to his career-high ranking.

"Since Wimbledon I played six tournaments in a row and had some solid results," Jones said.
