Jessica Moore in US Open 2007 as Wild Card Entry

When I searched for Jessica Moore in Google I saw the profile of a movie star. Obviously, I am not talking about Jessica Moore the actress. So, I changed my search keyword and I searched for “Jessica Moore Tennis” and this time, I had better luck, She is from Australia and she is just 17 years old. She is not even a player in the top 500 ranks. So, the opportunity of playing in the US open is supposed to be an impossible dream for her. Fortunately, she has earned her spot in US Open 2007 as an wild card contestant.

The Age reported:

West Australian Moore received one of two wildcard entries Tennis Australia can grant under its reciprocal grand slam arrangement with the US Tennis Association.

The youngster, who has her birthday on Thursday, is ranked No.629 in the world - behind 15 other Australian women who won't automatically qualify - but was chosen on performance and potential.

Let us see how Jessica Moore performs in US Open Tennis 2007. Earlier this year, she played in Australian Open 2007 too as a wild card entry but she was out from the first round. Now, let us see if she can do better in US Open 2007.
