Manchester City vs. Manchester United: A Great Derby

Fans of Manchester United are not happy with the performance of the current title holder of English Premier League in the first two matches of the season. Manchester United lost points in the first two matches of new season. In the second match against Portsmouth, striker Cristiano ROnaldo got red card and thus he will miss next three matches. Least but not last, another leading striker Wayne Rooney has fallen in injury again and ManU will miss him for coming few matches.

In such a crucial condition, Manchester United is going to face their arch rival Manchester City on August 19. With the first Manchester derby of the season, fans are excited and they are expecting an exciting match between this two teams of Manchester.

Ahead of this important match, Manchester City is now in good form as they won the first two matches of the season. Manchester City is now in second position in the point table. So, it seems that out of form Manchester United is going to face in form Manchester City this Sunday. So, ManU coach Sir Alex Farguson now in a big problem ahead of this prestigious Manchester derby.

I am not so sure if Sven-Goran Eriksson and his players can throw a big challenge for Manchester Untied but I hope an exciting match for the fans. So, don’t miss the season first derby in English Premier League 2007-2008.
