India vs England 2007: First ODI Live Updates

http://techblogbiz.blogspot.com/2007/08/india-vs-england-2007-first-odi-live.html

The upcoming ODI series between Indian vs England is now just a few days away. Through the match in Rose Bowl, the ODI series will be started on 21 August. Earlier, I have written on Indian batting ahead of the series against England. Now, I am writing on Indian bowling.

At first, I have to say some thing against Zaheer Khan. At this moment, Zaheer is the most consistent bowler in the team and his performance graph is increasing day by day. In the test series against England, Zaheer was the most successful bowler in the series and got the man of the match award. I think, Zaheer can play a vital role in the upcoming series against England. Munaf Patel and Rudra Pratap Singh can also be vital for England. Rudra Pratap Singh played well in the test series against England.

For Indian spinner, I think, Harbhajan Singh could have been more appropriate than Ramesh Power. Piyush Chawla is young and I would be happy to see him showing some impressive performance against England. Ramesh Power has lack of consistency. Anyway, England pitches are typically helpful for pacers and slow medium bowlers. Yuvraj Singh might give some special breakthrough for India.

It is true that cricket is a game of batsmen and bowler but in the series, India’s main strength is batting. In bowling, Zaheer Khan has to show good performance for India to win the ODI series as well.
