EPL 2007-08: Live in Mobile Phone TV

This is good news for many people in the UK. When they are busy and do not have a TV set in front then they cannot enjoy Premier League matches. Now, all this is going to change thanks to Sky. Sky is bringing EPL matches live in mobile phone TV. Mobile phone TV is having a healthy growth in different parts of the world. So, I am happy that Sky has introduced this service in England. Hopefully, it will spread to other countries very soon.

Intent Media reported:

The first match available will be Sunderland vs Tottenham Hotspur on August 11th, available to Sky Mobile TV subscribers on the Vodafone UK, Vodafone Ireland, Orange UK and, imminently, T-Mobile UK networks.

Launched in November 2005 as a 3G-only service, Sky Mobile TV currently offers 30 channels.

Live sports events already simulcast by Sky on mobile include UEFA Champions League football, Ryder Cup golf, the Football League Play Offs and England’s Ashes cricket tour of Australia.

Customers will be able to subscribe to the new Sky Sports mobile package for £5 a month, offering unlimited access to the channels without any additional data charges.

Good news for millions of mobile phone users in the world. I think that EPL matches have good market in China. Chinese people are crazy for Premier league clubs and China has now the largest number of mobile phone users in the world.
