Venus Williams is in superb form in the semi-finals in Wimbledon 2007. She took the first four points and then Ivanovic took one point. Then Venus again took one point and make the game 5-1. Ivanovic could hold onto her serve and got one point back and made it 2-5. However, that was the much that Ivanovic could go. Then, Williams held on her serve and won the match by 6-2. It did not take much time for Venus to win the first set. In fact, it took just 35 minutes for her to overcome Ivanovic in the first set.
In the first set, Ivanovic was very ordinary. She was playing in a way that I thought she was injured slightly. Her service was terrible and often she was serving on the net. On the other hand, Williams played consistently. Williams did not play anything extra ordinary.
