Fed Cup Without Ana Ivanovic

You already know that France Fed Cup captain Georges Goven did not want to include Marion Bartoli and for this we have to watch Fed Cup without Bartoli. If it is sad news then what would you say to the news that Ivanovic is out too. No, she did not suffer from any politics like Bartoli did. Ana Ivanovic is injured and that is why she cannot be a part of Serbian team in Fed Cup.

Sporting Life reported:

The world number five, who added a semi-final appearance at Wimbledon last week to her French Open final showing in June, was due to team up with Jelena Jankovic, Vojislava Lukic and Ana Timotic for the World Group play-off clash, but is now facing up to two weeks on the sidelines.

Director of the Serbian Tennis Federation Aleksandar Bolic said: "Ana Ivanovic has still problems with her right knee so she will not come to Kosice. She needs at least two weeks' break."

Ana Ivanovic is superb form for the last two months. She is improving and improving and becoming stronger and more popular. On the other hand, Serbia has enough female players and they can manage without Ivanovic for the time being.
