Ana Ivanovic has already proven her skill in international tennis and now is in the way of being the next star of tennis world. This Serbian talent came into professional tennis in 2003 at the age of 16 and from the very beginning she has been in a steady was of development. However, she came into lime light when she reached to the final of the French Open 2007. Though she could not lift the trophy being defeated by the present no.1 ranked Justine Henin, Ana Ivanovic could send the message of her rising to stardom.
In the ongoing Wimbledon 2007, Ivanovic still continues her excellent performance and has already reached to the semi-final. I am sure that Ivanovic is now aiming at the trophy and she is just two matches away from the much awaited first grand slam trophy. Now, the question is that can Ivanovic be able to win the Wimbledon 2007.
Well, only time can give the best answer but the next two matches would be very difficult for Ivanovic. She will face three time Wimbledon Champion Venus Williams in the semi-final and if she could make it to the final then she would face either Justine Henin or Marion Bartoli. Despite all odd, I think that Ivanovic has the potential to win the Wimbledon 2007 women;s single trophy and she now seems more matured to take on the biggest contenders.
