Rugby World Cup 2007: A TV Show Made on Rugby World Cup

Ahead of the rugby world cup 2007, a TV show will be telecast on TVNZ. The television show named “That Guy’s Rugby World Cup” is a seven episode television show. The duration of each episode will be 15 minutes. Directed by Leigh Hart, That Gur’s Rugby World Cup is a comedy show which has been made TVNZ. This show will different from other TV shows on Rugby.

The main difference is that “That Guy’s Rugby World Cup” has been shot just in a hotel room and you will not find any footage of rugby match in the show. Rather, the actors of the show will analyze the teams and the viewers will be familiar with the history of rugby.

TVNZ reported:
The production team say its distance from France and lack of rights to footage from the games will make That Guy's Rugby World Cup the must-see Rugby World Cup show.
Hoyte agrees: "Too many rugby shows nowadays are dominated by footage of the games. We prefer to analyze teams and form without rugby footage. It's less distracting."

I think, the show will be successful as this is going to be different from other rugby based TV shows. Another thing is that rugby fans are now eagerly waiting for the Rugby World Cup 2007. So, they will enjoy the show very much. Now, the only question is how the fans will react after watching the show. Only time can answer the best of it.
