‘QUBEE Summer Laptop Fair 2012’ is starting
on June 7 in Dhaka with the slogan “Enlighten up the Technology”. This fair
will continue till June 9 at The Ruposhi Bangla(Former Dhaka Sheraton)Hotel.
Event management organization `Maker Communication’ is organizing the laptop
fair for the 11th time in Bangladesh. On Saturday at Pan Pacific Sonargaon
Hotelin a press conference the organizers briefed the media on eve of the fair.

Rahul, Coordinator QUBEE Summer Laptop Fair 2012 were present at press

According to the organizers, this is the
11th time Maker Communication is organizing the Laptop Fair after successful
completion of 7 laptop fairs in Dhaka & 3 in Chittagong in the last four
years. The evolving laptop trend is causing the laptop price to hike down to
the purchasing capability of the middle class of the country. The electricity
problem is another reason for which the consumers are choosing laptops over
desktop. The mass gathering of the visitors, huge sales of the laptops and
enormous consumer interest involving the fair testifies this. The organizers
are expecting another shopping spree this year.
This year, the fair consists of 6
pavilions, 7 mini-pavilions & 40 stalls comprising of Qubee, Acer, Asus,
HP, Intel, Samsung, Gigabyte, Toshiba, Apple, Fujitsu, Lenova, Msi, Bijoy and
many others. There is a special arrangement for the new generation. Number of
new laptop models will be unveiled at the fair and also the visitors could have
the experience to operate it. A lot of chance to win attractive gifts like
smart phone, laptop, mobile set is for the visitors everyday and also LCD Tv in
the Mega-Raffle Draw.
Qubee is the title sponsor of the fair. And
the co sponsors are Acer, ASUS, HP, Intel & Samsung. The partners of the

The fair will be open from 10.00 am to 8.00
pm. The entry fee is TK 20 for the fair.
