Eden Hazard Signed a New Contract with Lille Keeping His Suitors Waiting

Belgian midfielder Eden Hazard has penned a new contract with his current club Lille, and thus, tying himself with the French club until 2015. The promising midfielder has already attracted a number of top European clubs including Chelsea, Arsenal and Real Madrid.

Well, it may seem that the 20-year-old attacking midfielder has now committed his future to Lille for the next five years. However, the player has still kept his exit door open. He vowed that he would remain at Lille for the time being, but then he also indicated that anything could happen in football.

Hazard said, “I'm with Lille 100 percent. I'm keen (to remain with Lille) but in football nothing is certain. There are still three months (of this season) to play. I will tackle them with all my heart and we'll have to time to talk afterwards.”

Eden Hazard has been one of the hot-shots in French league over the last two seasons. He is gradually improving and getting matured after every match. It is natural that the clubs like Arsenal, Chelsea and Real Madrid would love to add his creativity in their midfield.

What is important here is that his recent contract extension with Lille means any of his interested suitors would now have to splash the cash to secure his service. So, moving to a bigger club in England or Spain has now been little difficult for Eden Hazard.
