Carlo Ancelotti will not bid to sign David Beckham

There was rumor that Chelsea will make a bid to sign David Beckham on loan in the January transfer window. However, Chelsea manager, Carlo Ancelotti, strongly denied the possibility saying that his club has no intention to get him in his club.

The former Manchester United and Real Madrid player, has shown his interest to play the English Premier League on a three-month loan from the LA Galaxy during the MLS off-season. He is keen to show England coach, Fabio Capello, that he still has the possibility to be an important part of England squad.

Tottenham Hotspur boss, Harry Redknapp, has already told his interest to get Beckham in his club. To get him in his club, they will have to wait until Beckham concludes his deal.

Looking at the interest of 14 clubs, who expressed interest in singing him, it seems that the thirty-five-year-old player still has many things to give and support the club.

When Carlo Ancelotti was AC Milan coach, he took Beckham on loan. But he said that it would not repeat again. Backing his reason, he said that their aim is different. He said,

"I read Beckham would like to come back for Tottenham. He is a fantastic professional player and could be good support for Tottenham if he comes back."

Ancelotti also believes that he would do a good job for Tottenham despite his age.
