Time and Venue of India vs Sri Lanka 2nd Test 2010

India is going to take on Sri Lanka in the second Test match of the three-match Test series that will begin from July 26 at the Sinhalese Sports Club Ground, Colombo. Indian cricket team is trailing the Test series 0-1 following their 10-wicket defeat in the first Test match at Galle International Stadium. Now, touring team is keen to make their bounce back with a victory in the second test. On the other hand, host team, Sri Lanka will be looking to continue their winning steak against India.

This exciting and nail biting match will kick off at 04:30 GMT (10:00 local time) and 10:00 Indian Standard Time.

The second test match between India and Sri Lanka is going to be a crucial one for Indian skipper, Mahendra Singh Dhoni. MS Dhoni could not shine with the bat in the middle order batting line up along with some other reliable batsmen that brought the result of a humiliating defeat at the end. However, Indian bowlers were not up to their mark. Indian spinners could not take the advantage of Galle International Stadium that was more helpful for spinners.

However, Men in Blue are eyeing at the 2nd Test match at Sinhalese Sports Club Ground in Colombo where they are expecting to face a tough challenge against Sri Lanka. Sri Lankan cricket team has good performance in this ground with twelve victories and two defeats following three matches ending in a draw in the past decade. The last match between India and Sri Lanka was played here in 2008 where spin sensation, Ajantha Mendis, made his test debut and shared 19 wickets with Muralitharan and led Sri Lanka to a victory with a huge margin of an innings and 239 runs.

Let’s see if India can take revenge for their last Test defeat or Sri Lanka will repeat the history.
