Arsenal: Sol Campbell is leaving and Joining Newcastle United

It should be a bad news for Arsenal coach Arsene Wenger. In the last few days, it was expected that Sol Campbell will stay at London club and Wenger will not have to search a replacement for him. However, it is now almost confirmed that Sol Campbell is going to join Newcastle united later today.
Several clubs of England and Scotland were interested about the player but Campbell decided to join Newcastle United for two reasons. First of all, he recently got married and his wife wants to live in that part of England in which Newcastle united is situated. Secondly, Newcastle offered him two years of contract.
The player is 35 years old now and Arsene Wenger was not interested to give him more than one year of contract. On the other hand, Campbell did not join Celtic because he did not want to leave England.
Thus, Campbell will not be able to play in UEFA Champions league this season and it should not be a big problem for him at this age because he has already experienced all.
He is at the end of his career but still he is a valuable defender for any club.
