Anna Fermanova: A Russian beautician is accused of spying

First, it was Anna Chapman who was accused of spying by the U.S authority. Now, there is another spy with the same first name. Meet Anna Fermanova, a resident of Latvia, Russia. Anna Fermanova is a 24-year old American emigrant.

She resides in Plano Texas and has a license in cosmetology. She also majored in Communication from the University of Phoenix. She lives in Moscow with her husband and teaches English over there.

Anna Fermanova has been accused of smuggling military technology to Moscow. Currently, the lady is under house arrest and waiting for trial.

On March 3, 2010, Federal Agents found advanced rifle sights stuffed in a pair of boots in her luggage at JFK International Airport. The scopes were confiscated by Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents and Mrs. Fermanova was allowed to continue her trip in Moscow.

On July 15, 2010, she was arrested upon returning to the U.S. She was visiting Texas to see her relatives.

In her defense, Anna said that she was not spying but sending the night-vision scopes to big game hunters in Moscow. Her attorney said that she is not a spy.

Anna Fermanova is 5′6″ andwears a belly-button ring. On her Facebook pages, she said that she likes “slutty Halloween costumes.”
