Rafael Benitez has expressed his satisfaction with the development and performance of David Ngog and has stated that Ngog is doing well along with the star striker Fernando Torres. He said to the website of Liverpool:
"I think everybody knows now he is a good young player," Benitez told the club's official website.
He has good movement and he has quality.
It is very difficult for a young French player to come here and replace Torres so I think he is doing a really good job for us if you consider all these things together."
Fernando Torres was absent in few of the matches due to injury and this brought a good opportunity to Ngog and in 15 matches so far, he has scored 6 goals.
