Rafael Benitez is under a lot of pressre from all sides because of the poor performance of Liverpool in England and in Europe . At the EPL table, Liverpool currently lies at the 8th position. If they fail to in the top four by the end of the season then they would not qualify for Champions League next year. Rafael Benitez has spoken about the situation and he stated that he was confident that his players would perform well and the club would finish in the top in the league table. He however did not rule out leaving the club if Liverpool fails to qualify for next season’s Champions League.
"The players have confidence. They know that we are training well and we have to improve. We have to win games, starting with the next game against Wolves.
"Will I quit if we don't qualify for the Champions League? Let's start winning some games and then see where we are shall we?
"There is a lot of pressure these days on managers and that is the way society is - everything is so fast, everything is needed so quickly, and we have to accept that.
"It is the way of football, and the way of life. There are a lot of people investing a lot of money in football, and these days they want a quick return. But I have confidence in my side that we can get out of this," said Rafael Benitez.
There was some reports that Liverpool club might have change of owner soon.
