Tendulkar Made 175 Runs but India Lost

It has been said that Sachin Tendulkar may be the greatest batman of our time but he is not a match winner. Today, we again saw that how much this is right. Tendulkar played superbly at the age of 36 and he crossed the 17,000 runs in ODI career. He is the only player to do in the world. Tendulkar could score a century too and it was scored in style. He scored 175 runs from 140 balls and it is one of the greatest ODI innings of all time. However, despite all the efforts, India in the end lost just by 3 runs.
BBC reported:
As well as Marsh's stunning maiden century, it will be the efforts of man-of-the-match Tendulkar who will rightfully dominate the headlines, despite being on the losing side, scoring 175 off 140 balls including 19 fours and four sixes.
The 36-year-old, already holding the records for most runs in Tests and one-day internationals, has now notched 17,168 runs in limited over cricket over 435 matches with an average of 44.59.

Well, naturally, the Australian players are very happy. They piled up a massive total of 350/4 from 50 overs. It was a batting wicket and thanks to Tendulkar, India was almost all the time in the right way while chasing this total. Anyway, it again shows that Tendulkar is indeed the greatest batsman of our time but he is not a match winner.
