Brazil Facing England in a Friendly Match on 14 November 2009

Brazil and England lock horn on Saturday in a high-profile international friendly schedule to take place at the Khalifa International Stadium in Abu Dhabi. This is a highly anticipating game for which millions of football fans are now waiting for. Both Brazil and England have already ensured their qualification into next year’s world cup.    Brazil vs England is always a big match in football world and the upcoming match would not be different.

Well, I am a bit disappointed to know that the match will not be shown live in any of the sports channels in my part of the world (South Asia). I searched about the live tv information in the net, but did not find out any popular sports channel who would telecast the match live. This would definitely disappoint many football fans.

England captain John Terry is doubtful for the game as the Chelsea centre back is now suffering from an ankle injury. A decision over Terry’s injury would be taken in the eleventh hour of the game. If he does not feature against Brazil, then there is a strong possibility that Manchester United forward Wayne Rooney would lead England in the match.

Meanwhile, Manchester City is angry at Brazil’s plan to feature Robinho in either of their friendly games against England and Oman. The striker missed a number of matches for City since he injured his ankle while representing Brazil in a world cup qualifying game. Naturally, City does not want Brazil to play the striker in either of their friendly games.
