Andrew Flintoff Signed a New Deal with Lancashire

English all rounder Andrew Flintoff has signed a new 3-year deal with Lancashire county team. Flintoff is currently out of action with a right knee injury and is now going through a 12-week rehabilitation process. He is hopeful that he will be back in competitive cricket in early next year. The all rounder retired from test cricket at the end of England’s victorious Ashes 2009 series in order to focus more on limited over cricket.

Andrew Flintoff is very happy to extend his contract with Lancashire where he has been playing since he was 9 and he has said that he does not want to play anywhere else in county cricket. Moreover, Flintoff has said that he still wants to be the best ODI cricketer in the world.

Flintoff created a buzz in the cricket world when he expressed his desire to become a freelance cricketer and declined a central contract with England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB).
