Sylvinho Confident of City Victory over United in Manchester Derby

Manchester City’s Summer signing Sylvinho is confident that Manchester City can win at Manchester United tomorrow in the first Manchester derby of the season. Though he has not yet featured for his new club, the defender believes that City can perform very well this season. The Brazilian indicates City victory over Barcelona in a friendly game, while talking about the City’s chances at Old Trafford.

Sky Sports reported:

"Yes, City are capable of winning," he said.

"Only a few weeks ago they beat Barcelona, although it was a friendly.

"The team is very good. It's a strong side with a good mentality. Of course, we still have to improve - but we're an important club in Europe today."

Well, it is true that City has been able to win all the points coming their way so far in premier league. However, the fact is that the Eastlanders are missing four of their key strikers while visiting the same city rivals on Sunday. Naturally, it would put pressure on the visiting side. It is true that City has a very good squad in the presence of some star performers, but I am not quite impressed by the kind of football they have been playing. Their midfield is not very united and very often City midfielders lose controls in the midfield.
