Liverpool to Bid for Valencia’s David Silva in Summer 2009

Liverpool seems to be interested to make a bid for Spanish international David Silva who was one of the key members of Spain’s Euro 2008 winning team. Silva is an attacking minded player who is capable of playing on both wings. Having seen his talent and skill, Liverpool is reportedly believed to be ready to spend around £20 millions for the Valencia midfielder. Along with fellow Valencia star David Villa, Silva was reportedly linked with a number of clubs in the past and Valencia valuated the duo at around £130m together. Moreover, Valencia is currently facing financial problem with the club being under a debt worth £462m which was estimated last November. So, Liverpool is expected to try to make the best out of David Silva. The English club already has a number of key players from Spain including Fernando Torres, Xabi Alonso, Jose Reina and Albert Riera. Now, let us see if Liverpool continues to increase the number of Spanish international in its roster.
