Guus Hiddink Leaving Chelsea Soon

(This entry was originally published on Tuesday, April 14th, 2009)

Earlier today, I wrote about van Persie remaining in Arsenal and now, I am writing an opposite news about Guus Hiddink. Guus Hiddink is now the interim coach of Chelsea football club and he has become very popular. In fact, under him, the club has seen some good amount of success. The fans are very happy after a series of setbacks for the club. Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich believes in just one philosophy- he has spent a lot of money for the club and he must get success in return. Roman Abramovich has good relationship with Hiddnik.

BBC reported:

At a club question and answer session, Buck told fans: “There has been a lot of speculation about him staying. That will not be the case.”

Buck also ruled out the possibility of Jose Mourinho returning to manage the club next season.

He said he felt that Mourinho’s time with the club “had passed”.

It is surely a shocking news for many fans. Of course, the fans like Mourinho and would love him to come back. However, I don’t think that Jose Mourinho would love to come back or Chelsea decision makers would want to see him at London again.
