Manchester United is going to visit Championship outfit Derby County tonight in the first leg of the Carling Cup semi final encounter. The match will take place at Derby County’s home ground Pride Park, Derby. No doubt, Manchester United is favorite for the match, but Derby would not let the Red Devils do whatever they wish in front of their home crowd. With Tottenham Hotspur and Burnley being the other semi finalists, Manchester United fans have already started to hope for the league cup title.
Well, you can not write off Derby County yet, at least considering the fact that they crashed out premier league outfit Stoke City in the fifth round of the tournament. Manchester United would go into the match as favorite- meaning they will have to deal with huge pressure to play well and win the match, while Derby County has nothing to lose against the reigning world champion Manchester United. So, Derby players will try to show their best, looking to cause an upset against the visitors.
Sky Sports 1 television channel will telecast the match between Derby County and Manchester United live for the football fans in England. The match kicks off at 7:45 PM. So, if you are currently in England and do not want to miss the live action of the first leg of the Carling Cup semi final then do not forget to tune on to Sky Sports 1 when the match starts.
