Bangladesh vs Sri Lanka second test 2009: Second day report

It was perhaps the day of Sri Lankan spin bowlers like Muttiah Muralitharan and Ajantha Mendis. However, you have to give some credits to Chaminda Vass too. Chaminda Vaas took quick wickets and put Bangladesh under pressure after. After that, Bangladesh could not recover and only in the ninth wicket they could put up some resistance, thanks to a brilliant innings of Mashrafee Bin Mortaza. He scored 63 runs and it is his third half-century in Test Cricket. This helped Bangladesh to avoid follow-ons but Sri Lanka got a lead of 176 runs in the first innings. Batting for the second innings, Sri Lanka was 13 without any wicket and they will start the third day with a lead of 189 runs.
