Pakistan captain Younus Khan has said that he is confident of winning the title of twenty20 world cup 2009 that begins from 5 June 2009. However, the batsman also thinks that reaching the semi final would also be a good achievement for Pakistan cricket team. Since the Lahore terror attack, this is the only second overseas tour for Pakistan who earlier played against Australia in UAE. Younus Khan is also delighted to have been back into international stage once again. Pakistan cricket is suffering from tumultuous security condition as no international teams are willing to visit Pakistan. Moreover, Pakistan was stripped off the host status of ICC World Cup 2011 in the backdrop of Lahore terror attack on Sri Lankan cricketers.
Pakistan captain has also said that somebody like Salman Butt, who can bat through 20 overs, and hard-hitters like Shahid Afridi and Misbah-Ul-Haq will be very crucial in the English seaming condition. So, he is hopeful Pakistan will show some good cricket in England.
