Virender Sehwag: I am at the Best Phase of My Career

Indian opener Virender Shewag has said that he is currently going through the best phase of his career as his big scores are helping India to win matches consistently. Sehwag has been in excellent form recently as he has one triple-hundred, a double-hundred and five half-centuries in his last 15 tests since Gary Kirsten took over the coaching role of Indian team last year.

Another important thing is that they must get into the next level of the competition that could have done in Sehwag went through a bad phase of time during the coaching stint of Greg Chappell and he recently said that he had asked the team management to allow him to bat in the middle order when he was struggling for form. However, team management entrusted him to bat in the opening slot as they thought he would be bale to contribute more to the Indian team as an opener than as a middle order batsman.

Virender Sehwag has also revealed that he and his opening partner Gautam Gambhir have grown a little competition between themselves like who would be able to score quickly or who would get more runs in a series. Sehwag thinks that this little competition helped both of them to strive for more success.

Overall, I think, Sehwag and Gambhir have become one of the most fearsome opening pair at this moment in the world and the duo played a big role behind the recent success of Indian team.
