Gael Clichy Injury: A Cause of Concern for Arsenal

You have to agree with me that this is a very bad season for Arsenal football club. For most of the part, the club suffered from numerous injuries to their key players and now it is the turn of the defense. Gael Clichy is insured and will be out of action for nearly one month. But it means that he will not be able to play in the champions league quarterfinal and FA Cup semi final matches. It is a big blow for the club as he is one of the top defenders and Gael Clichy is also very good at coming forward and supporting in the attacking moves of the club.

Telegraph wrote:

Clichy has suffered a back injury and will be out for three weeks, while Almunia faces two weeks out with his ankle injury. The worst news, though, concerns William Gallas, whose medial knee ligament injury has been confirmed, meaning he faces being out for the rest of the season.

All three players will miss the Champions League quarter-final second leg against Villarreal next Wednesday as well as the FA Cup semi-final with Chelsea a week on Saturday.

Most people like to criticize the coach Arsene Wenger for poor performance of the club in the last few seasons but they do not try to remember this matter that in this season, the club has been suffering from numerous injuries.
