When, at the start of the season arsenal coach Arsene Wenger made William Gallas as the captain I did not like the decision. It seems that that Wenger should have listened to people like me. Now, William Gallas not only has failed to inspire his teammates but also has successfully managed to get into a very bad fighting that is bringing a lot of bitterness in the club. So, he has been stripped of his captaincy and he’s also not included in the first eleven that is to play tomorrow against Manchester city.
Instead of apologizing, William Gallas has now become even bolder and is now talking about leaving the club and going to France. There is no doubt that William Gallas good player and he’s a rock in the arsenal defense but I think that he’s going too far. He’s not showing no sign of cooling down and it can only harm the club. However, he should not forget the matter that in the last one decade when ever left arsenal only destroyed their own career. The best example in a recent past is Henry, the all time highest goal scorer for the club. Henry moved to Barcelona but had no good performance and is struggling and most probably has successfully managed to cut short his career. I can see that William Gallas is following the same way and he will also suffer a lot in future.
