India vs England Second ODI 17 November 2008

India has finished their a few minutes ago in the Second ODI and scored 292/9. Dhoni won the toss and he thought that it was a good pitch for batting. Well, to be honest with you, I felt that it was not a good pitch to bat first. In fact, except two players, none of the other batsmen failed to get any decent score. Here is the runs some of them scored:

Sehwag: 1

Raina: 4

Sharma: 3

Dhoni: 15

So, you can see that most of the batsmen in the top order suffered against England bowlers. However, two batsmen had something other in mind and they played superb. Gambhir scored 70 runs from just 76 balls. He scored 4 boundaries and one six. It was Yuvraj Singh who came to save India and scored a brilliant century. He scored 2 sixes and 15 boundaries and in the end, Yuvraj made 118 runs from just 122 balls. This is surely gem of an innings. For England, Broad captured 4 wickets for 55 runs.
