Adobe Systems is now on the verge of bringing its Flash technology to mobile phone. The company has been working to bring its Flash player 10 to mobile devices. Adobe Systems wants to see its Flash technology in high end mobile phones. Flash Player 10 has been featured in Nokia's Symbian operating system, Microsoft's Windows Mobile, and Google's Android operating system. However, Apple iPhone is yet to feature Flash Player 10 yet.
CNET reported:
Lynch demonstrated Flash Player 10 on devices running Nokia's Symbian operating system, Microsoft's Windows Mobile, and Google's Android operating system. But the quintessential example of the new family of smartphones, Apple's iPhone, so far remains only on the wish list.
"This needs a little more baking. We need to pass the taste test of Apple's head chef," Lynch said as he retrieved an iPhone from a pan full of mobile devices, turning enthusiastic whistles and cheering from a crowd of thousands into a disappointed hubbub. But Adobe is working on it, he said.
Google android was built on an open platform and now it can feature Flash Player 10 pretty easily. Flash is also used in You Tube video hosted on the Google service and shown in Windows Mobile Phone. Apart from Flash Player 10, Adobe is also working on Flash Lite.
