The match against Korea is crucial for the UAE after they lost the first two matches at home to North Korea and Saudi Arabia with identical 2-1 margins.

On the other hand, Japan is also taking the match seriously. A convincing win against UAE will boost up their confidence. UAE caretaker coach Dominik Bakani is going to carry out some experiments in the match and he is going to make some major changes in the team. After the South Korea match, the UAE will play against Iran on November 19, 2008.
