Joachim Low Impressed at the Postive Reaction of Torsten Frings

There is only one match left before the football world get to know the champion of Euro 2008. You already know that Germany and Spain will face each other in the final match of the tournament at the Ernst Happel Stadion, Vienna in Austria. No doubt, the match is very inviting and fans of the football world are eagerly waiting for the one last encounter of Euro 2008. Now, ahead of the match, German Coach Joachim Low is very much satisfied with midfielder Torsten Frings because of the player’s positive reaction even after being failed to make it the starting line up of Germany in their 3-2 victory over Turkey. Frings was injured out for Germany’s quarter final encounter with Portugal, and Simon Rolfes and Thomas Hitzlsperger came on in the starting line up and impressed the coach with their inspirational performance which left Joachim Low in a trouble to choose between Frings and Simon Rolfes- Thomas Hitzlsperger for the match against Turkey in the semi final.

The coach did not like to break the winning combination leaving Frings out of the starting line up, even though he had already recovered from the injury before the Turkey match. However, the coach was happy with Frings as he did not show any negative reaction being left out of the starting line up.

Sky Sports reported:

"He was very disappointed when I told him but later he came and knocked on my door and said he would have made exactly the same decision if he'd been the coach," said Low.

"It showed just how big a player he is - what a leader he is. It was a classy reaction."

Frings came on the field against Turkey in the 46th minutes in place of Simon Rolfes. It is apparent that Low is very much satisfied with the approach of Frings. Now, the question is that if Frings will again be left out of the starting line up. Let us just wait and see.
