Gael Clichy Confident about Arsenal in Premier League Title Race

Arsenal defender Gael Clichy is still confident regarding the title race of his team. The French international thinks that Arsenal has the quality to come back from the patchy form they are going through right now. Arsenal are in their worst form so far this season with four draws in a row, followed by last weekend’s frustrating defeat to Chelsea. Arsenal is currently six points behind the leaders Manchester United in their pursuit to win the premier league title.

Espn Soccernet reported:

'

We may have lost against Chelsea but we played well,' said the 22-year-old. 'The manager is still confident. At the moment, we are alongside Chelsea in the battle to catch Manchester United.

'They are not dropping many points at the moment but there is still a long way to go. Honestly, I think Arsenal have the quality to come back from this. We just have to work hard.

'We haven't had a lot of luck in the last few matches. We had our chances (against Chelsea) but we didn't do what we had to to win.'

Arsenal has seven matches at hand before the season ends in premier league. So, it is certain that it would not be that much easy for the Arsene Wenger men to come back in the right track because Manchester United is now at their top form. Added to that, Arsenal still has premier league fixtures against Liverpool and Manchester United. Now, let us see if Arsene Wenger still has some magic left to show.
