Clarence Seedorf Thinks Experience Would Give AC Milan Edge over Arsenal

AC Milan midfielder Clarence Seedorf revealed that experience of his side is the main advantage ahead of the Champions League showdown at Arsenal on 20 February. Defending champion AC Milan is going to travel to Emirates stadium to face Arsenal in the first of the two-leg match of last 16. The Dutch international insisted that Arsenal would not be able to outperform experienced AC Milan though he admitted that Gunners are one of the best teams of Europe.

Goal.com reported:

"In my view, although Arsenal are one of the best teams in Europe and have been playing very well lately, they lack experience," he told Sunday Mirror.
"We are champions of Europe and have won this competition seven times. We know how to handle these occasions.
"We have experience and we also have cunning, especially when it comes to ties over two legs.
"Arsenal have a great record at home but. But the second leg being at the San Siro will be our advantage."

Seedorf claimed himself a fan of Arsenal’s young midfielder Cesc Fabregas but added that Fabregas would find it difficult to outclass Gennaro Gattuso. Well, it is true that Fabregas is now at his prime form with steering Arsenal in their pursuit to win the premier league. Arsenal fans will be looking to him to expecting a special performance in the home tie with AC Milan. Seedorf, on the other hand, is now yet confirmed for the trip to Arsenal as he is recovering from his ankle injury.
