Avatar Season 3 Episode 3: Some Reflections

The popular American animated television show titled “Avatar: the Last Airbender” will air its season 3 episode 3 soon. This Emmy award nominated television show is telecast on Nickelodeon channel. This is now one of the most popular television shows at this moment in America. Besides huge popularity, Avatar: the Last Airbender has been critically acclaimed by the critics as well. Now, fans are excited for the upcoming third episode of the third season. Having experienced the immense popularity of the first two seasons, Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko, creators and producers of the show, got inspiration to launch the third season of this series titled Avatar the last airbender: The awakening. Yes, the new season has come up with some surprises for the regular viewers of the show.

“Avatar: the Last Airbender” depicts the life of an imaginary world where it is seen a co-existence of humans, fantastic animals and supernatural elements. Based on Asia’s martial art culture, the show is set to take place in a world where human civilization is divided into four nations: the water tribes, the earth kingdom, the air nomads, and the fire nation. There is an order of man and woman called “Benders” available in every nation. Using these benders, human beings have control over their native elements. There are four types of bending: Waterbending, Earthbending, Firebending, and Airbending. A human being can only use the bending types available in his or her nation. However, an Avtar, possessed with special power, can use all four bending styles. Bending involves martial arts. In a state called Avatar State, an Avatar possesses the skills and knowledge of all the past Avatars.

In such a world, Aang, the central character of the show, and his friends go for various adventures involving some other major characters of the series including Katara, Sokka, Zuko, Azula etc. Aang tries to save the world from the Fire Nation. The third season of the series has some surprises in the form of awakening. For example, Aang finds himself in Fire nation ship as being captured. Moreover, Prince Zuko, the antagonistic role of the last two seasons came up with positive character.

Toonzone reported:

As stated, much of the episode is clearly setting up threads that will play out for the remainder of season 3. The side-effect is that not very much truly happens in this episode. We discover that the inner conflict that Zuko struggled with all season long is still raging inside him, despite whatever choices he has made. We also get to see that Azula has not changed at all, continuing to manipulate people and situations to her own advantage. Parallels between Aang and Zuko are brought forward in explicit detail as Aang grapples with his abject failure to protect the Earth Kingdom, declaring that he must face the Firelord to wipe away the shame of his failure and restore his honor.

So, the coming episode 3 of season 3 is expected to come up with some exciting incidents. However, the main problem of this new season is that it can not attract a new viewer who could not watch the series of the previous seasons. Except this disadvantage, the third season of “Avatar: the Last Airbender” is certain to make boom. If you watch Avatar Season 3 Episode 3 then come back here and share your idea.
