Who will Win US Open 2007 Title in Men’s and Women’s Singles?

Now, it is a big question that who are going to be the winners in both women’s singles and men’s singles of US Open 2007. I know that both Roger Federer and Justine Henin are now most favorites to win the title. For Federer, it has become a habit to win grand slam. However, it does not mean that he will not be happy to lift the US Open 2007 title. Though Rafael Nadal has already been of the tournament, Novak Djokovic is still in the competition. So, no doubt, tennis fans are now eagerly waiting to see another Roger Federer vs Novak Djokovic final.

Novak Djokovic has a memorable record which he can take as his inspiration to stop Roger Federer. Just before the start of US Open 2007, Novak Djokovic won the title of Masters cup defeating Roger Federer in the final. After that win, Novak Djokovic is regarding as the new competent of Roger Federer. Even he was though to be the only person who can stop Roger Federer in US Open 2007. Anyway, only time can say who will succeed but it is true that Roger Federer can not relax at this moment.

On the other hand, Women’s singles was more open for the US Open 2007. However, with the time progress, many stars have got out of the tournament. Now, it is natural that World no. 1 Henin is most favorite for the women’s single title. However, Russian Svetlana Kuznetsova can come up with surprising performances as she did in US Open 2004. So, Henin has no chance to relax.

Now, I think, both world no. 1 Justine Henin and Roger Federer are favorite to win the US Open 2007 title. It is also true that their opponents have potential to surprise them but the matter of fact is that Justine Henin and Roger Federer are very hungry for the US Open title. Justine Henin could not win the US Open title since 2004 and Roger Federer is on the verge of making a open era record of winning four consecutive US Open title. So, I think, neither Henin not Federer will like to miss the chance in US Open 2007.
