Rugby World Cup 2007: A Local Rugby Pub Adopts the Name of New Zealand Province

You already know that New Zealand rugby team has got a warm reception in Marseilles. During the Rugby world cup 2007 New Zealand rugby team will stay at Marseilles, the seashore city of France. Upon the arrival of the New Zealand in Marseilles, rugby fans welcomed the former champions with their cheering voice. New Zealand captain has revealed his hope that French fans will adopt New Zealand as their second home team after France.

Recently a local rugby pub of Marseilles has adopted the name Canterbury which is a well known rugby playing province in New Zealand. The pub authority will keep the name during the Rugby world cup 2007.

The bar concept was launched during last month's test between France and England at the Stade Velodrome, where the All Blacks will kick off their World Cup campaign against Italy on Sunday.
The bar is the base for Marseilles Rugby, a group of oval-ball adherents who keep the faith in a staunchly football city.

It seems that the pub authority is trying to promote their pub and attract the New Zealand fans during Rugby world cup 2007. New Zealand is one of the strong teams in the tournament and they are determined to win their second rugby world cup in France. The bat authority will be beneficial much if New Zealand can win their second rugby world cup in France.
