India vs Scotland Twenty20 World Cup: Indian Bowling vs Scotland Batting

India will play their first match of Twenty2o world cup 2007 against Scotland on 13 September 2007.

This is one area in which Indian players will have to be worried some. The only comforting news is that Scot batsmen are not famous for their batting. They do not have any world class batsman who can take the bowling of the opposition team alone and can make some big scores in match after match.

Piyush Chawla, Shanthakumaran Sreesanth, Irfan Pathan, Rudra Pratap Singh, Rohit Sharma, Ajit Agarkar, Harbhajan Singh are the bowlers of the India team. I think that India will play only specialist bowlers and I would love to see Harbhajan Singh in action. He can turn the ball and make the life of Scot batsmen a living hell.

Scotland does not have any famous batsman in their side. Cricket is not a popular game in Scotland. May be, Twenty20 format of cricket will gain some grounds in the country.
