India vs Australia First ODI: Price of Tickets

There is a heavy rush now for a ticket of the first ODI match of India vs Australia series 2007. The first ODI will be held at the M.Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bangalore. Indian fans are now interested to this series. India has recently won Twenty20 world cup 2007. That is why, Indian fans has started coming out for cricket again.

You already know that almost all tickets of the first ODI have already been sold out. So, fans are now rushing for the tickets online. Naturally, organizers are now happy with it. Gallery tickets are priced for RS 200. The higher class ticket prices are ranged from RS 1000 to RS 10000. So, most of the fans are interested to the gallery tickets. Some fans could not get a ticket even after waiting for the whole night in a long queue.

Deccan Herald reported:
The tickets were priced quite high with only the 'gallery' class offered at Rs 200 for the six-hour match. The other denominations ranged from Rs 1000 to Rs 10,000 for special seats in the Corporate Boxes.

India’s impressive performance now seems to bring out a revival in Indian cricket. After the disastrous performance of Indian team in the last ICC world cup, Indian fans started losing their interest from cricket. Now, with Twenty20 world cup win, Indian fans have become interested again to cricket. So, BCCI and NEO Sports have a better chance to make some quick cash in.
